The Christmas Eve Post & Decor Tour!

It's Christmas eve! Likely the most festive day of the year for our family: the stockings are hung, the tree hearth holds a bounty of gifts, and there are cookies to be made.

I think the most important thing about Christmas is the anticipation of it. The "day" of Christmas is of course fun and joyful, but it's the anticipation for the 25 days prior-to which grabs the hearts and imagination of children and children at heart.

This year we have already conquered two family Christmas celebrations and have two to go. We have chosen to spend Christmas day quietly in the comfort of our own home, just the 3 of us, and cook up some homemade Indian food to celebrate.

To you & yours, happy Christmas eve!

If you do nothing else this Christmas eve, I encourage you to read the account of the birth of Jesus straight from the Gospel of Luke. You don't need to be a Christian to pay homage to the fact that Christmas comes with a reason. It began somewhere.

One day left!

Christmas garland made with the Christmas edition of Canadian Living - I read it, loved it & upcycled it!

We're feeling festive. The movie Elf inspired a snowflake party for 1! (Me.)
