In Wonder

Did you know that an eight pound, nine ounce bundle of soft skin and gentle murmurs has the amazing ability to bring me to my knees, humbled, thirsting for the love of Jesus, the promises of God? If you've ever felt this indescribable, deep love (and you don't need to be a mom to get here), you can probably give a hearty "yes, sister". (I've been into listening to Beth Moore this week... Girlfren')

Well, today I can tell you, I love my man, I love my girl, and "it feels like there's not enough praise inside of me".

That's not to say the last three weeks have been a state of unadulterated pure bliss. No. There have been tears all around. But laughter, too. So I'm choosing to hold tightly to the smiles, the kisses, the new dreams, and the promises of patience, joy, love and peace God makes clear in Galatians 5:22.

In the words better than my own:

"I'm in awe at the majesty of who You are / Your love is a seal burnt inside my heart / And it feels like there's not enough praise inside of me / With all these words, all my heart can sing is 'holy'." - Leeland, "I Wonder"
