We haven't been able to snap some pictures of our new goods (they were promptly put into storage for our moving day in T-4 days!) but here are some internet depictions of what our new nest-fillers look like.
Here we go:

| If these two dressers (above & below) had a baby... |

| ...their baby would be our new dressers ($80 for the pair) |
![]() |
| Snagged a mirror similar to this. but with more rounded edges. I shall paint it white! ($5) |
![]() |
| John fell in love with an ammunition chest for his photography equipment ($10) |
![]() |
| Apartment sized 10-year old washer / dryer set ($80 for the pair plus the pain / suffering my hubby faced in moving these darn things) |
![]() |
| Simple Eco Sneaks - These ones but brown ($5) |
Total savings drumroll...
Etsy sells small antique wood dressers for between $200 - $500 per dresser (let's say $200 per)
I found the mirror on Kaboodle for $42
Ebay sells Ammunition chests for upwards of $85
The washer / dryer combo was selling for $100 at the garage sale (negotiated!)
The Simple Eco Sneaks had a tag for $67 in Canada (brand new), $55 in the US (get yourself a pair - they are so comfy!)
Total comparable price: $694
Total spent: $180
Total saved: $514
Job well done.
