did i mention i love my husband?

I do! I love my husband. This is a tribute to him.

My husband is fantastic. He works so hard to achieve his dreams. He doesn't settle for less. How many people can I truly, truly say that about? Very few.

John gets these traits from his parents. I'm not sucking up - really, I'm not. I recognize that his mum & dad aren't Mr. and Mrs. Perfect (would-be Mr. Perfect may contend to differ hahah), but they are committed people. They persevere. Anything they set their mind to, they find a way to achieve.

I'm thankful that John's parents raised him in this way. Having come from a family that dedicates their lives to giving a voice to the voiceless, John has had a rough go on one occasion or two. Things haven't always been easy. But he's seen the reward that comes from investing your efforts in relationships. He knows what it means to change a life.

And he does that. Through his demeanor, through his friendships, through his work. John commits himself thoroughly and I think he's just fantastic for that.

Also, he's a damn good cook.

Today, John sold 112 (so far!) coupons on a website targeting sales to people buying portraits & engagement photoshoots. This isn't his forte. But he's pursuing it so he can pursue his dreams, which is commercial photography. He's doing what he has to do, so he can do what he can do.
