A Visit From Friends Part 1 | Laguna de Apoyo & Granada

Our friends came down for a 10 day visit with their little 9 month old. For them it was an exercise in adventuring with a child for the first time & trusting the quiet calls of God. For us it was a massive encouragement in community and trusting in every single thing that God has taught us thus far in Nicaragua.
We're totally blessed to have these guys as friends and it was great for Everlea to have a little buddy her size hanging around while Lilian "took care of the babies" and begged everyone to play with her constantly. Constantly. Constantly... Life with a two year old is fun.
Despite being hit with #ACFpukes, the 2015 stomach flu flying (literally) around our church back home, we still managed to adventure so much into Nicaragua in a new way that we have too many pictures for one post.
Enjoy!

Day 1 we hung around the missionary compound we're living at, day 2 we had a sick day, and day 3 the trip began: we went to The Monkey Hut at Laguna de Apoyo where we lazed around a little & Emily and Jeremy went kayaking for a bit. We also managed to skirt into Granada and check out the city a little deeper as well as the cathedrals, rounded out with a crazy good dinner at The Garden Cafe, our favourite cafe in Granada. Or Central America. Our second favourite cafe in the world.
