This is a Man's House

John has taken to hobbying. Me too. We are messy hobbyists. When I'm making a craft, I'm making a craft all over the house. Scissors everywhere. When John's finding his interests, he does it all over the place, too. Mostly, he beers all over the house. All.over.the.house. He Vanilla Bourbon Breakfast Stout-s in each and every one of our rooms. And by that I mean making, not drinking.

Two weeks ago I went to bath Lilian to find a big ol' circular scratch in the middle of my tub, thanks to some beer making device.

My kitchen sink found itself a nice big scratch, too, right smack dab in the middle of the porcelain.

There's an 8' table sitting in my driveway which was used for brew day.

A strainer, too. A really big industrial sized strainer. Sitting in my driveway.

And let's talk about the beer itself. Right now I have 30.5 bottles of Vanilla Bourbon Breakfast Stout fermenting (or something) in my kitchen.

Breaking Bad has been making an entrance in our TV room, too. Like... a lot.

If it weren't for cute wall decor, general tidiness, and an array of carefully placed baby toys, you'd think I was living in a bachelor pad.

In a world of Pinterest and perfection, I just thought I would share a glimpse into the reality of beer making / my husband asserting his manhood. This is a Man's house. But not for long. It's time for me to begin a new project and for John to package & refrigerate his brew.
