Sing with me, how great is This Song

I love my Christian family. We are one big, lovely team. I won't pretend that our team makes no mistakes - we do - but I love us.

Right now my hubby & I are on the Search For A Church and finding one isn't easy - that's partially due to the fact that it's been wedding & portrait season, and Sundays are often booked with spending time with couples & families (working, not resting) which pushes our Sabbath back to Monday or Tuesday or Friday or something.

One of the things John and I are looking for a church is honest music-time ("worship" time) - we want to avoid services that rely on using chords X Y and Z on the guitar to pull our emotional heart-strings and musicians that sing so well together that you think you're part of the World's Most Beautiful Voice Committee. Don't get me wrong, those things are great, but my personal weakness is getting caught up in the Music and forgetting the Message.

That said, I saw this video today on Facebook which reminded me of the concerns we are hoping to avoid. Check it out - it's pretty funny (and a little convicting!)
