apple crumble recipe

The very first thing I thought about this morning when I woke up was the 7 delicious apples sitting in my kitchen with 2 days left of deliciousness. And then I thought about how much I love apple crumble.

So I found a yummy recipe, altered it a bit (a lot), and voila - delicious Sunday breakfast. best paired with my hubby's favourite classic show Black Adder. And hot chocolate. And self-confidence enough that you remember life does not equal diet.

the apply goodness:
6 medium apples or 7 small apples
4 tablespoons of sugar
a drizzle of honey
a teaspoon-ish of cinnamon
2 teaspoons of butter / marg

grease a pan, and place the apples, sugar, honey, cinnamon and butter in it. stir it all around. :)

the crumbly goodness:
4 teaspoons of butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats (I used 1 package of Maple and Brown sugar instant oatmeal)

mix the butter, brown sugar, flour and rolled oats in a separate bowl. pour over the apple mix.
drape a piece of tinfoil over the pan, and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 350. take off the tinfoil and bake for another 30 minutes.

enjoi.
