I take holidays very seriously. All holidays. Very seriously. They're there for a reason: holidays are one big community funfest where everyone gets involved, and the more you get involved, the more fun you have. We jump in with new years, follow with Valentine's Day, proceed with Easter, enjoy a few long weekends, up to Thanksgiving, then Halloween, and finally, we end with Christmas! My year is broken up into excitement for the next holiday.
This year for Halloween, we decked our living room in cobwebs, stuffed a giant spider with leaves, and had friends over to celebrate. Our roommate Josh put together a costume bearing uncanny resemblence to Daniel Plainview of There Will Be Blood, and John & I have created pretty elaborate Mr & Mrs Scarecrow costumes. By the end of the night, all the drinks & food were gone - we had fun.
Tonight, John, myself & my Dad and Lisa are hitting up the Church St Block Party.
Nothing like a good Halloween :)
