it's good friday.
good grief. a wake up call.
a day of mourning.
every year we are given this amazing opportunity to stand still,
and wait patiently,
to hear whispers of thanks through the world for the sacrifice of my beloved,
Jesus.
consider the cost of your life.
often we subconsciously complete this exercise at births,
at funerals:
everything you are, have, want to be, will be, own, posses, hold close,
everything.
that is the cost of your life; not your possessions, but the way you touch the world.
you are an expensive being.
your worth is great.
on good friday, remember that the cost of your life
has been paid
by the one who laid down his.
that at the end of the day,
you owe nothing because of Jesus.
Jesus, commissioned by God, came to this place to build relationships, to touch lives,
and gave that up so he could continue touching the world in the most profoud
and eternal
ways.
so take His gift,
and touch the world with your own hands
knowing that because of Him,
you have nothing to worry about.
He has taken care
of it all
for you
and asks you to join him in eternity.
he has died, but will rise soon
and very soon.
