faking it.

creation = commodity.

but that's not how it was meant to be.

gadgets and cheap accessories
have brought us so far
and given all people the
opportunity

to fake an artgasm.

"An artist is somebody who produces things that people don't need to have." - A. Warhol

  1. Hello! Perhaps as an artist I shouldn't believe that art is a commodity. But when you look at the cold, hard facts of the art world or even our normal world, if you're good at what you do you want it to pay off.
    In regards to Warhol, technically no one NEEDS art, not in the same way we need water and air. But people are a little more complex than matter. In our present society art is more of a glue holding communities in place rather than serving a utilitarian purpose.

  2. I like you Natg.

    And I don't want to believe that creation and commodity are one in the same,
    it's just that I see people using technology to create things that talented people work hard to create,
    and it makes me sad.
